The IBM building is a 5-storey, 125,000 square foot facility, with one level of underground parking.

The modified concrete tilt-up construction and curtain wall glazing produce a high quality exterior finish and high performance building envelope. The envelope’s durable, concrete and curtain wall assembly is thermally-broken from steel studs by rigid insulation. Windows are tinted low-e glass. In addition, sunshades are provided on the south face to reduce heat gain and glare. As a result, this building met CBIP energy consumption targets.

Calgary Beltline’s dramatic architectural design respects the heritage buildings in the neighbourhood, while creating a dynamic modern aesthetic for contemporary companies.
