The new expansion houses offices and classrooms in a 3 storey addition. Sustainable principles are incorporated into the facility wherever possible. These include: high performance glazing; sustainable materials including linoleum, low VOC paints, sealants and adhesives, formaldehyde free engineered wood products and local wood products, acoustic tile with a high recycled content, formaldehyde free batt insulation; polished concrete fl ooring; radiant heating and cooling; steel columns and beams with a high recycled content and concrete floor slabs with fly ash additive; among many others.
